JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Site Supervisor supports the US Coast Guard Aviation Logistics Center MRS in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. Provides Depot Level Maintenance by way of overhaul through disassembly, assembly, and maintenance of the C-27J and C-144A/B airframes. Some travel required to support field teams in the maintenance, repair and modification of airframes.

REQUIREMENTS, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

• Minimum of five (5) years’ in a supervisory position required.
• Must have at least (10) years’ experience and knowledge of aircraft overhaul trades and labor work.
• Shall possess a working knowledge of OSHA requirements;
• Possess excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills;
• Attention to detail is a must;
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word), Windows based operating systems, and general internet navigation and usage required.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Essential/Typical Duties:

• Provide day-to-day oversight of personnel and assigned activities/tasks;
• Ensure employees are following all applicable instructions and policies;
• Perform onboarding activities to include obtaining access to the facility;
• Facilitate and ensure employees complete all required training;
• Supervise staff to include monitoring performance, promptly addressing personnel issues and setting/meeting priorities;
• Respond to communication (emails, texts, phone) in a timely and professional manner;
• Coordinate financial and staffing resources with the appropriate personnel;
• Coordinate invoicing and work through any discrepancies.

Non-Essential Duties:

• Other related duties as assigned.
